Aer Lingus has announced a significant network expansion for summer 2026, launching six new routes that strengthen both its European short-haul offering and transatlantic presence.
The headline addition is a new four-times-weekly service from Dublin to Pittsburgh, starting 25 May 2026 and operated by the Airbus A321neo LR. This route brings Aer Lingus’ total number of North American destinations from Ireland to 24 and further supports its Dublin Hub strategy, enabling seamless onward connections between North America, Ireland, the UK and Europe. The airline worked closely with regional partners, including Pittsburgh International Airport and VisitPITTSBURGH, and the route also builds on Aer Lingus’ strong sporting and cultural ties to the city, notably through its partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
