Ultra low-cost carrier Breeze Airways is expanding its presence at Pittsburgh International this summer with a new nonstop route to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The new route begins July 3 and will operate on Mondays and Fridays year-round, according to Breeze spokesman Ryne Williams. One-way introductory fares start at $39, he said.
Breeze offers the second-most flights of any provider at PIT since it debuted in 2021, trailing only Southwest Airlines. The airline’s chief commercial officer, Lukas Johnson, said that nine of its 15 flights to Pittsburgh are now year-round, up from four last year.
