Breeze Airways will add seasonal service between Pittsburgh and Louisville, Kentucky, later this year. The ultra-low-cost-carrier will have roundtrip nonstop service on Thursday and Saturdays from May 7 through Sept. 13, it announced Wednesday. The Airbus A220-300 twin-engine leaves Pittsburgh at 4:46 p.m. and arrives at Louisville at 6:15 p.m. The return flight leaves Louisville at 6:55 p.m. and arrives in Pittsburgh at 8:18 p.m. Each plane has 137 seats in three classes.

It will be the first time regular service has connected Pittsburgh and Louisville since 2018. Breeze, which was founded by JetBlue founder David Neeleman, has been growing by leaps and bounds in Pittsburgh since it arrived in July 2021. The initial service had four flights but now has 14 separate nonstops, among the most of any airline.
