Construction of the new terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport is progressing, with the more-than $1.5 billion upgrade set to feature a new landside terminal, increased parking, and shorter security wait times. Travelers heading to the airport may notice a new traffic pattern due to ongoing construction.
“As people are coming in to the existing airport of today, obviously we’re under construction with a new terminal that’s open this fall,” Bob Kerlik, the airport’s head of public affairs, said. “People just need to be wary when they’re coming in; there are some lane changes with the construction.”
