11 December 2025: Aer Lingus, the Irish flag carrier, is set to launch a new direct flight connecting Pittsburgh and Dublin, beginning May 2026. Operating four times per week, this service will offer seamless onward connections from Dublin to major European cities including Paris, Rome, Geneva, Amsterdam, Manchester, and London Heathrow.
The airline has collaborated closely with partners in the region, including the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh International Airport and VisitPITTSBURGH, to successfully launch this new service, which will strengthen the cultural, sporting, and business connections between Ireland and Pennsylvania.
