Nonstop flights to Dublin, Ireland, will begin soon from Pittsburgh International Airport. Aer Lingus announced the route Thursday. The flights will start May 25, 2026, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. From Dublin, travelers can connect to other destinations, including Donegal, regional markets in the U.K. (Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh), and major European cities, including Amsterdam, Berlin, Geneva, Glasgow, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Venice and Zurich.

According to a news release from The Pittsburgh International Airport, the relationship between Pittsburgh and Dublin is connected through the Rooney family, which owns the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers were selected to play the first-ever NFL regular-season game in Dublin in September 2025.
