The Emerald Isle is calling. Why it matters: Less than a month after opening a massive $1.7 billion terminal upgrade, Pittsburgh International Airport may already be reaping some of the benefits with a new route to Ireland.
Driving the news: Irish airline Aer Lingus announced Thursday it will start service between Dublin and PIT later this year.

Zoom in: The new route will operate four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Fares start at $519 round trip, according to Aer Lingus.
