Members of the public will get the chance to see and tour the new terminal before it opens at Pittsburgh International Airport later on this fall. But you have to register to do so, and registration is now open. According to an email blast from Blue Sky news, the airport’s in-house media site, the open house is scheduled to run from 12 p.m to 7 p.m on Oct. 11. It’s free and open to all members of the public. However, you must register here, as space is limited.

According to the email from Blue Sky News, “the open house welcomes 1,500 people an hour for the opportunity to see and explore the new pre-security terminal before it opens to travelers.” The tour will include seeing the new terminal ceiling and lighting that “reflects the rolling hills and stars of Western Pennsylvania,” according to the email.
