Registration to attend Pittsburgh International Airport’s open house of the new terminal opened to the public Friday. The $1.7 billion modernization project began in 2019 and is offering 10,000 people a first look at the terminal’s updated features on Oct. 11 from noon to 7 p.m.

“We’ve said from the beginning that this new state-of-the-art terminal is built for Pittsburgh, by Pittsburgh and we are excited to open the doors to the public to tour,” Allegheny County Airport Authority CEO Christina Cassotis said in a news release. To attend, visitors must select a one-hour time slot. Adult will need to register separately and should use a unique email address for registration, but are able put children under the age of 18 with their registration.
