Pittsburgh International Airport is among the airports next on the list to receive TSA PreCheck Touchless ID. The new security option will be available in March at the airport’s main security checkpoint, according to Ian Cava, TSA spokesman.

Though there are 12 security lanes overall at Pittsburgh International Airport, it is unclear as of now how many will be devoted to the touchless identification process, Cava said. The touchless identification option “enhances the security screening process with facial comparison technology for faster, more efficient identity verification,” according to the Transportation Security Administration.
