Travelers got their first look at the new terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport on Tuesday morning. The terminal, which boasts more than $1.5 billion in improvements, includes a new landside terminal, increased parking, and shorter security wait times.

“I can’t get over how beautiful it is,” said Bob Caldwell, a Pittsburgh resident. “It’s way nicer than I expected it to be. I was here for the last one in 1992, I was there for the opening. This is so much nicer and bigger. I wasn’t really happy about building this new one, but now that it’s here, it’s really way better than I thought.”
