Pittsburgh is getting another connection to the West Coast. United Airlines announced Friday that it plans to launch daily nonstop service from Pittsburgh International to Los Angeles International Airport beginning March 29.

It becomes the third carrier to offer service from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles, joining American Airlines and Breeze Airways. Passengers will fly on Boeing 737-800s with 166 seats. Airport spokesperson Bob Kerlik said that the new flight will make it easier for leaders in industries both cities excel in, such as technology and entertainment, to travel between them.
