Pittsburgh International Airport’s shopping options got a bit fancier following the opening of Hammer Made, a premium menswear outlet offering items including dress shirts, sport coats and polos at nine locations across the country. Airport executives on Wednesday gathered outside Hammer Made’s black-and-white themed storefront as Airport Authority Chief Operating Officer Travis McNichols symbolically cut the tape with a giant pair of scissors.

Mr. McNichols said Hammer Made’s debut at the airport followed customer feedback calling for a mix of local and national brands in the terminal. He said the new store represented the airport’s commitment “not only to convenience, but also unique, high-quality retail options. We know that many different types of travelers go through our airport every day, and we want to ensure that our offerings meet the needs of everyone that we serve,” he said.
