Pittsburgh International Airport will be many visitors’ first contact with the city. The new terminal that’s currently under construction is expected to open by the end of this year, and discussions with organizers and the NFL are already underway.

“So we’re working with all of them as far as what the airport experience will look like from the NFL Draft perspective. But certainly we are going to be ready with, from the new terminal to make sure that it’s going to be a streamlined passenger experience. I will say that we’ve already hosted the NFL executives through here a couple of times already to sort of get the lay of the land for the airport and talk to them and show them what’s coming next year and what we have currently,” said Bob Kerlik, director of public affairs for Pittsburgh International.
